Short Term Accommodation (STA) allows families and carers the security of having their loved ones cared
for while they have a short break. Our respite house in Hamilton is fully equipped with hoists, access ramps,
electric beds and is conveniently situated near the local hospital. It is fully equipped with an electric hoist and
offers all the comforts of home. The skilled staff at Southern Stay provide participants with support and care so
they can continue their usual activities whilst away from home, or enjoy the break from their routine.
Placement is available upon request and availability. Access to the regular booking cycle is available after your initial interview.
If you have funding in your NDIS plan for Assistance with Daily Life; Improved Relationships; Shared Living; Maintain Informal Supports or Assistance/Increased Social and Community Participation you may be able to use that funding to purchase this support service.
